Making a choice
When life loses its meaning, something has to change. That was my experience while living in Montana in 2014 - my life lost meaning. I had a great job in a beautiful location, friends, a good salary… so why did I feel so lost in a never-ending cycle monotony? Why was I so dissatisfied? I didn’t have the first idea, so I made a radical decision.
I made the decision to walk.
With more than 4,000 miles (6,400 km) of hiking and backpacking experience, I’ve created some resources for trails I’ve hiked and places I’ve visited. Stay tuned for more resources coming soon!

An International Network of Trails
With representation from over 150 countries, World Trails Network (WTN) strives to connect diverse trails and trail leaders of the world with the intention to protect, promote, and preserve trails of all shapes, sizes, and identities.
Why? Because trails matter.
In 2019, I became the International Field School Director for the WTN regional affiliate, World Trails Network: Hub for the Americas. Since then, I have been working with this non-profit and our community partners to help develop the trekking market in Costa Rica.
